WordPress Index Maker

One of the annoying things (and there are very, very few annoying things about WordPress), is the lack of a usable index of all posts. Luckily, a very good scripter/programmer has written an easy to use Index Maker for WordPress.

DukeLupus has written WordPress Index Maker (see his release post here on his blog and his scripts and programs website for the downloadable link here).  I’ve used it here on my blog, as well as on my food blog.

With this app, you can sort an index in a few different ways.. by Date, by Date in reverse order, by the first tag you’ve assigned the post, or by post title.  Here on this blog, I’ll use Date, and on my food blog, I’ve used the post title for an alpha sorted list.

As always, thank you, Duke :)

Dr. Seuss’ version of Harry Potter

Harry:

“You tried to kill me with your wand.

You tried to kill me near a pond.

You killed my mommy and my dad,

And that’s what made me really mad.

You possessed my main squeeze little Ginny

when I whined my voice turned tinny.

I hate you truly, I really do

I’ll kill you now, and that is true.”

(Upon hearing this Voldemort drops dead from bad poetry)

Edgar Allan Poe – Alone

A favorite and one that fits my mood..

Alone

by Edgar Allan Poe

From childhood’s hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then–in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life–was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

Counting Crows – A Murder of One

Counting Crows – A Murder of One

Blue morning
Blue morning
Wrapped in strands of
fist and bone
Curiosity, Kitten,
Doesn’t have to mean
You’re on your own
You can look
Outside your window
He doesn’t have to know
We can talk awhile, baby
We can take it nice and slow
All your life is such a
shame, shame, shame
All your love is just a
dream, dream, dream
Are you happy where you’re sleeping?
Does he keep you
safe and warm?
Does he tell you when
you’re sorry?
Does he tell you when
you’re wrong?
I’ve been watching you
for hours
It’s been years since
we were born
We were perfect when
we started
I’ve been wondering where
we’ve gone
All your life is such a
shame shame shame
All your love is just a
dream dream dream
I dreamt I saw you walking up
a hillside in the snow
Casting shadows on the winter sky
as you stood there
counting crows
One for sorrow
Two for joy
Three for girls and
four for boys
Five for silver
Six for gold and
Seven for a secret never to be told
There’s a bird that nests
inside you
Sleeping underneath
your skin
When you open up your
wings to speak
I wish you’d
let me in
All your life is such a
shame shame shame
All your love is just a
dream dream dream
Open up your eyes
You can see the
flames flames flames
of your wasted life
You should be ashamed
You don’t want to waste
your life baby
I walk along these hillsides
in the summer
‘neath the sunshine
I am feathered by the moonlight
falling down on me

Change, change, change

things i found funny this week (Stoners busted)

You just have to watch…and if you do as I did, you’ll watch it 5+ times and giggle along until you are in tears.

Stoners Busted

It’s the guy giggling that just tears me apart.  I just re-watched this about 5 times, and am just giggling like mad.
